OPENING COCCYX | 2001 | installation

Bursts of light are emitted as a result of a chemical reaction which occurs as drops of phosphoric solution fall into a pool of sodium hypo-chlorite (bleach), creating luminescent rain. For the exhibition of Opening Coccyx at Diapason, Evelina Domnitch and Dmitry Gelfand have invited Richard Chartier to create a 12 channel sound installation.
